After obtaining a Masters in Kinesiology and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology, I became a public health researcher focusing on injury prevention. Most of these years were on the faculty at Johns Hopkins University, but I also spent time working for the U.S. Army and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
I have recently given this initiative new life by re-launching it as a Facebook "cause" called Drivers helping Drivers. I hope to see lots of Facebook users who join the cause and thus pledge to report their near misses, and any crashes that they were unlucky enough to experience.
